Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding will primarily be taking place outdoors but we do plan to move into a ballroom around 9pm. Please be sure to dress accordingly and monitor the forecast that week! The temperatures in Scottsdale this time of year are typically mid 80's during the day and drop to low 70's once the sun goes down.
What is the flow of the evening?
We'll be serving champagne from 4-4:30 and our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. After our ceremony, we will be enjoying cocktail hour on the lawn where there will be a full open bar & passed appetizers. We will be moving to a rooftop for dinner service & formalities and then down to a ballroom for the dance party until 11pm.
Is there a dress code?
We'd love for all guests to join us in either formal or black-tie attire! Long dresses, suits, gowns & tuxedos are all welcome.
Where should I stay? Are there room blocks?
Our wedding will be taking place at a resort in which we would love all our guests to stay however we're aware you may be looking for a different price point or vibe. Room rates for Mountain Shadows Resort are around $350/night this time of year. If you are looking to splurge and want a luxury resort, we recommend staying next door at either the Omni Montelucia or JW Marriott Camelback Inn.
If you are wanting something more affordable and simple, recommend The Scottsdale Plaza Resort or The Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas.
Our wedding hotel is also within minutes from hundreds of vacation rentals & homes and you're more than welcome to explore those options as well.
Are kids or plus one's invited to the wedding?
Although we love your little ones, we are keeping our wedding night an adults-only affair. When it comes time to RSVP to our wedding through our website(in July & August 2025), you'll be able to list the specific attendees based on the names addressed on the invitation you recieve.
What day should I fly in for the wedding?
Our wedding will be taking place on Saturday at 4:30pm. We recommend flying in either Thursday night and joining us for welcome cocktails(exact location is to be determined) or Friday morning so that you can join us Friday night for our rehearsal dinner event(exact location is to be determined).
What airport do I fly into?
The best airport to fly into is Phoenix Harbor Airport. The mesa airport is an option as well, however, it is a 45 minute uber from Scottsdale (the uber is usually around $100 from mesa vs $30 from phx sky harbor).
I have a dietary restriction - how do I let you know?
When you RSVP to our wedding in the Summer of 2025, you'll be able to indicate whether yourself or anyone in your party has any kind of allergy or restriction. The more detail you can provide us, the better!
